Hancock County among best in state for employment | Business

FINDLAY, OH (Toledo News Now) - Hancock County is one of the best counties in the state of Ohio when it comes to jobs. The county ranks in the top 10 when it comes to lowest unemployment rate.
Carolyn Rodenhauser of JobSolutions says the county is actually employing many from outside its borders as well.
“Findlay and the Hancock County area is one of the areas where we have more people commuting into the county opposed to going out of the county,” said Rodenhauser.
Manufacturing and health care make up the biggest employment sectors for the county. Hancock County is home to more than 150 manufacturing companies.
Still, not everyone in Hancock county is making enough to pay the bills.
“I can't get a 40 hour pay period for one job I have to do two so right now i'm in here looking for a third jobs so that I can get those 40-60 hours,” said Denita Crow.
Crow was at JobSolutions Monday looking to add a job in the health care field. Rodenhauser says she came to the right place, as JobSolutions had a 95 percent placement rate in 2012.
