Join us in celebrating Cinco de Meow!  In honor of Cinco de Mayo we are having an adoption special throughout the ENTIRE month of May!! 

Our cat and kitten adoptions are only $45.00  ($95.00 regular adoption fee)  and you still get everything that is involved in a typical adoption - initial vaccinations, spay or neuter, Feline Leukemia test, flea preventative that is good for one month, a small bag of food, cardboard carrier, and a free office call to one of nine local vets.

We have a variety of very nice cats that are all looking for FOREVER familie

Free Comic Book Day 2012

This weekend marked a holiday amongst comic book readers. Saturday was Free Comic Book Day, a holiday held annually on the first Saturday in May. Local comic book shops and book stores celebrate the day by offering a wide selection of free comic books.

The Book Nook in Findlay was the area's local shop participating in Free Comic Book Day. They had boxes of specially marked comics by the register and offering them to anyone who walked in the door.

FINDLAY, OH (PRESS RELEASE) - Staff and students of Findlay High School invite area senior citizens to attend a special luncheon at Findlay High School on Wednesday, May 9th from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at a cost of $2.55.

United Way to package 285,000 meals, community invited to help

FINDLAY, OH (PRESS RELEASE) – United Way of Hancock County’s Halt Hunger Initiative is organizing an event to package 285,000 meals for food insecure families and individuals in Hancock County.  The “Meals of Hope” packaging event will take place on Sat., May 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Findlay High School cafeteria.

Approximately 800 volunteers will be needed to accomplish the task and an additional 30 volunteers will be needed as lead volunteer event staff. Individuals who are interested in being lead volunteer event staff will need to attend training on Fri., May 11 from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Findlay High School cafeteria. Other volunteers for the day of event will simply show up at the time they are assigned and will be trained on-site.

Owens Concert Band to host Spring Pops Concert April 29

PERRYSBURG TOWNSHIP, OH (PRESS RELEASE) – Area residents are invited listen to array of musical selections ranging from Broadway Show songs to patriotic-themed numbers as the Owens Community College Concert Band presents its annual Spring Pops Concert on Sunday, April 29.

The concert will begin 2:30 p.m. in the Mainstage Theatre. Owens’ Toledo-area Campus is located on Oregon Road in Perrysburg Township. The performance is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
