UF offers financial aid information via text message | News
FINDLAY, OH (Toledo News Now) - Perspective students at the University of Findlay have a new way to enquire about scholarship eligibility.
The university now offers merit based aid estimates via text message. All perspective students have to do is text their GPA, along with the word “freshmen” or “transfer”, to 411247.
Students can qualify for as much as $16,000 in merit based aid. The school increased merit based scholarships by $1,500 in 2013.
“Students are able to find out on their own without going through different channels to get what they want. It's right there at their fingertips,” said University of Findlay Marketing Director Charlie Webb.
