FINDLAY, OH (PRESS RELEASE) - The United Way of Hancock County’s Findlay Young Professionals group, formerly known as the Young Leaders Society, will be hosting a leap day event on Feb. 29 at Alexandria’s located at  132 E. Crawford St. from 5:30 – 8 p.m.

The event will feature presentations from Mayor Lydia Mihalik, Alexandria’s Manager Jacob Rowland, along with United Way President and CEO Keith DuVernay. There will be free food, a cash bar and time for mingling.

Downtown Restaurant Tour to celebrate cultural cuisine Nov. 17

FINDLAY, OH (PRESS RELEASE) - “The World of Downtown Restaurants” is being held on Thurs., Nov. 17 from 5-9 p.m. The event is a self-guided walking tour of 13 downtown restaurants between the bridge and Hardin St. The purpose is to promote the cultural cuisine in downtown Findlay, while raising funds for United Way of Hancock County.

Each of the restaurants will provide one sample of their cuisine for each passport holder. Passports can be purchased for $20 each at Coffee Amici, 328 S. Main St and United Way’s office at 245 Stanford Pkwy. Only 300 passports will be sold.
