31 students to graduate from OCC Basic Peace Officer Training Academy April 18

PERRYSBURG TOWNSHIP, OH (PRESS RELEASE) – Thirty-one students will be recognized as Ohio Basic Peace Officer Training Academy graduates at Owens Community College Wednesday, April 18.

The special ceremonies will start at 7 p.m. in the College’s Center for Fine and Performing Arts Mainstage Theatre on the Toledo-area campus. Owens is located on Oregon Road in Perrysburg Township. The College’s Basic Peace Officer Training Academy graduation is open to the public.

Owens to host Community Craft and Trade Show Benefit April 5-7

PERRYSBURG TOWNSHIP, OH (PRESS RELEASE) – Area residents are invited to spend some time shopping at Owens Community College for a good cause as the Owens Students Against Cancer organization serves as host to a Craft and Trade Show, April 5-7.

The Craft and Trade Show, which is free and open to the public, will occur daily (Thursday-Saturday) from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the College’s Student Health and Activities Center on the Toledo-area Campus. Owens is located on Oregon Road in Perrysburg Township. A portion of the funds raised from the event will benefit Breast Cancer Fund of Ohio.
